Question by chops29: Traverse City,Mich. hotel prices.?
I have been visiting T.C. since 1982 and it seem to get worst every yr.
The room I rented in may for 55.00 cost 130.00 in July.
I know that have a short season to make some revenue, but a 50-60%
increase is a bit much for a one or two star rated motel. I can stay at
the Bellagio in Vegas for that kind of money. I find it ironic that they are asking these high rates when I know due to unemployment and gas prices, people are staying home.

Heyyyyyy……I used to stay in Detroit….and if I were still “there”, you could stay at my house for FREE…..but….unfortunately I don’t have it anymore….hmmmmmmm
Let’s see….Traverse City…..how far is that from Detroit, because my friend from detroit is coming for a visit from 10th—to—22nd this months….and maybe….you could stay with him (if I ask him)….He’s a real nice guy (and a “preacher” with his own church) so you’ll be in good hands…..-smile-

Damn…I just “caught” a virus when I checked the last link…..GRRRRRR…..ohhhhhh well….I put “him” in quarantine….stupid “bastard”….sorry for my emotions….but…check out the other 2 top ones chops….and see…. maybe you could contact the travel bureau to find out more details, but it sure is rediculous to charge soooooooo damn much (just because it’s the “High season”)Blood-suckers!
