Guayaquil is the biggest and most populous sea port city of Ecuador. The main earning of this city comes from sea trade however the city is now developing its tourism by trapping its natural and historical reserves.

The main attraction of the city is the Local Market that sells a number of handicrafts and a number of locally made edible items and various types of cloths and accessories. The next attraction is the beautiful town of Salinas known for its beautiful beaches and water sports.

The next major attraction is the Malecon 2000 which is like an open square andis surrounded by cafeterias and restaurants. The Antropological Museum is located very close to this place. Bird watchers can enjoy themselves in the Cerro Blanco which is idly suited for this purpose. A tour of Guayaquil is never complete without a visit to the Jipi Japa beach known for its huge deposit of sea shells, Black Marlin, Tuna, and Dolphin.
