Medellin – A City of Eternal Spring

Medellin is a Columbian city and is located in the AburrĂ¡ valley, valley. This city is known for its dazzling nightlife and vivacious culture. However there is more to Medellin than the apparent glam and the glitz. It is city with its own natural beauty and historical landmarks that makes it unique.

The major attraction of Madellin is The Basilica Metropolitana, built in the 18th century is considered as the oldest brick church of South America. The Plaza Botero is another major attraction. It contains the major works by renowned Medellian artists. Then there is the Pueblito Paisa , build on the model of Antioquiana village.

Other areas of interest includes the Antioquia Museum, Bolivar Park, Coltejer Building, Museum of Antioquia, Palacio Nacional, International Convention Center, Antioquia Railway Station and the EPM Library.

Medellin is particularly famous for its textile business and various types of clothes are easily available here. Other shopping items includes crafts, jewelry, shoes, bags, leather products like wallets, belts etc.
